I have a question for experienced mamas, do you feel that there is an age where LO needs to be sleeping in the nursery or it will be more difficult later on? If you don't cosleep, what would be the ideal time to start your LO in the nursery?
We're in the process of transitioning LO starting two nights ago. I think I'm having more trouble than he is. I'm currently sleeping in the nursery with him. He seems to be sleeping the same but nothing other than our surroundings have really changed. Tonight will be our first night in separate rooms... Maybe. Ill update how it goes. Oh LO is 5 months today
We moved Dylan at 4 months because he was too big for his bassinet and was ready for his crib. I think around 5 months is when habits start to form, so by then they should be doing whatever routine you want them to get used to long term. That is also just my opinion.

We moved our LO right around 4 months. He adjusted fine and it was hard for me the first couple nights but now it's much nicer having our bedroom back.
We moved LO to the nursery at 3 months. I think I kept her awake and vise versa. Not to mention H's MOTN farts would startle her awake. We sleep much better now. Well, they do, I still deal with H's noxious gas.
With DD we moved her to the nursery at 3 months and she started sttn then. Now our kids share a room. I started having DS sleep in there at 4 months but he still wakes up 3-4 times per night so most nights he is back in our room after the 2nd or 3rd wakeup. I have found that DD seems to disturb DS much less than DH and I do, and he doesn't bother her very much even with the multiple wakings.
He did fine last night in the nursery, it's me that had the separation anxiety and worried all night. I guess now is the time while it doesn't bother him
