Non-IF boards?

Do you feel self conscious when posting on non-if related boards? I do. It's basically got my medical history in the siggy which is nobody's bees wax except for you guys. Am i being paranoid? Also, what other boards do you lurk in? Curious...

I'm all up in the cloth diaper board. For some reason, I'm shy about my IF struggles in real life, but literally wear them as a badge here on TB. It's like a bat signal so we can reach out to others who need us.

I love my BMB (June '13). I feel like some of the ladies there are true friends. I love this board obviously, and I lurk/minimally participate on parenting, but that board moves very fast and is more for entertainment.

I also wear my IF like a badge. There was a crazy on Friday on August '14 who said some hurtful things about IVF babies and my BMB (and the rest of the bump) attacked. There is so much support here I feel no reason to hide.

When the A12 board was more active and SAIF less active I posted in there fairly regularly and was very open about AF. It was a connection with some women, it educated some people to issues with which they were not familiar and I'm sure some people just rolled their eyes and thought, 'there she goes again.'

I could only make it through 8 pages before I got sick to my stomach. But I was proud of how many non IFers jumped in in support of ART.

I post regularly on A12 and Working Moms. I lurk on some other boards too. TB is pretty much the only place that I'm all out there with my IF struggles.

I'm on here and sometimes lurk the parenting for entertainment purposes. I do lurk PAIF and IFV to check on girls I've "known" for a while.

I saw the FFFC Aug '14 post and it made my skin crawl. I was also glad to see so many non IFers jump in to support.

I'm not sure what's worse...her comments or that this kind of thinking doesn't even surprise me because I've heard it so many times. Yuck.

I will say that I am pretty impressed by some of the comments. It's so awesome to hear so many women supporting the IF community.

For reasons like this August 14 FFFC thread I stay close to home! IF boards are my safe haven. I lurk on others but have only posted here, PAIF and IF.

I lurk and occasionally post on PAIF, natural birth, and the breastfeeding board. I'm pretty active on Attachment Parenting.

I do find myself making sure that I comment/answer other IFers on other boards, even if it is just words of encouragement.

Before I was DX with PCOS, I was so confuse by the siggies of the IFers. Not judgmental, at all, just like "wow, that seems like a lot to go through- glad it's not me!" Now, I'm typically more drawn to those people (us) on other boards.

I lurk on TTTC and TTGP and occasionally post on my BMB. I consult cloth diapering and the toddlers board too.

As soon as I read "science babies" the other day I had to back right on out of that post. I just could not be bothered with idiocy that day.

Besides SaIF, I'm a reg on the BNB and my BMB for DD. I never really got into the BMB for DS2. I think bat signal is a perfect metaphor! That would make a great badge!

I am very active still on the IF veterans board and lurk with some posts on August 13. I like the BMB but don't love them.
