Pissy ass mood..

The city spelled LOs name wrong on his birth certificate! A certificate that I paid $22 for! I call and see what I need to do. So I mail it and a self addressed and stamped envelope. I get it today. They fixed it, WITH A INK PEN!!!!! Is that even legal????

I was pissed but at least I had dinner out tonight with LO and a friend to look forward to. Nope! She cancelled as I'm walking out the freaking door!!!! Does she not realize how much planning this took? And the only reason I found out she was canceling was because I texted her to tell her I was on my way!

So now DH is going out to a car show with the girls husband and I'm sitting at home pissed and doing laundry..

    That's what I'm thinking! Like what if he tries to get a passport someday and they think he altered it or something??? I'm gonna call Monday.. Probably spend another hour getting the run around like I did when they got it wrong the first time!

    There's no way I would take that legal or not.  I'm super anal about stuff like that, I would probably demand a new one even if it just had an extra crease.

    Oh I plan on pitching a fit Monday! The worst part is, it was the manager! She had me mail it directly to her!!!

    That's rediculous! That definitely can't be legal, you could have just done that yourself and saved a stamp! As for your dinner plans I'd be super pissed too, not only does it take time to strategize feeding times, etc., it's such a hassle to get ready nowadays with a LO.

    Here we have to order them; they won't mail them out automatically.  We don't have ours because the currency exchanges don't process them until the baby is at least 3 months old, and we're too lazy/disorganized to go downtown for it, and too cheap to pay all the extra processing fees for doing it online.
