What's your favorite beer? or just your favorite beer name? Sometimes I buy DH beer just based on funny labels. Once in a while they happen to be good. We went to a beer tasting festival last fall and we had a blast. I feel like I'm enjoying more hoppy beers as a result.
I honestly can't say that I have a favorite. There are so many different styles that I enjoy. I am trying to think of some with good names. But I am drawing a blank.
Beer tasting festivals are a fantastic way to try new beers. I've been to quite a few. One of the grocery stores nearby lets you do mix and match 6 packs. It's a another great way to try new beers, and we tend to also pick based on fun labels (if it's a style we think we'll like). Anything fruity I stay far far away from.
I miss good beer! We went to GABF a few years ago and it was amazing. I can't wait to get back & drink my way around Denver again.
DH and I would love to go to GABF. It is on our to do list. But it's a long trip for us so it'll probably be quite a while before we actually make it out there.
I miss Denver so much, it is an amazing city! Totally worth a GABF trip, do they sell Dry Dock beer nationally yet? I know they were starting to can and distribute their beers before we left the States. If so you should totally pick up some... of all of their beers. The Vanilla Porter & Apricot Blonde are really great and fun to mix those together. Combined you get a Vanilla Thunder.
