I know you're otherwise occupied, but if you get a chance let us know how Miss Amelia is doing...and how you are doing. I've been thinking about you guys. Praying she is recovering as well as could be expected. ::hugs::

    She updated our other BMB group last night that Amelia's surgery went well yesterday. She isn't out of the woods yet but she's doing well. I believe they will be at the hospital until Amelia's next surgery.

    I know she'd appreciate any thoughts and prayers sent their way. Amelia is one strong baby girl.

    Thank you for thinking about us. Amelia is doing well. There was a seizure scare the night following her surgery, but it didn't show up on the EEG. We're staying in the hospital for a few months, until her next HLHS surgery. It's a curse and a blessing all in one. I hate to not be home for that long, but since we know we're not leaving, we're not in a rush for her to recover. We are content with letting her take her sweet time. After her first surgery, I just wanted everything to happen right away so we could go home, this time I am fine with things going slowly because we're not leaving anyways. 

    I came home today for the first time to be with Emma for a couple days. My MIL is staying with Amelia. We can't do anything for her anyways, since she is on a ventilator. I need some time to recover from this last week. 

    Thank you for thinking of us. 
    We're grateful for all the prayers, really grateful!

    Amelia has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. She has had 3 open heart surgeries, 1 g-tube surgery, and one tracheostomy. She is the strongest, most precious little fighter.

    Oh girl! I'm so sorry. Continued prayers heading your way. Hope you are able to rest and process while you are home with precious Emma.
