Guessing LO's age

Do you find that people are bad at guessing the age of your LO? Does it bother you if they're way off?

It doesn't bother me but I've noticed people guess way younger when she's siting in a cart or stroller (I think it's the lack of hair) or they tend to guess she's a little older if she's up running around. When I take DD to the library baby class and they go around and have everyone say their LO's name and age, I know I can be really wrong with the age I think the kid would be and I have a baby! so I never guess the age of another person's baby, I usually just ask.

People usually guess she's older than she is. Doesn't really bother me. B's tall so I get it.

People don't even try with DS.

He is 1% in height and weight. However, he talks and repeats things, listens to commands, runs, jumps, etc. It always baffles people. I usually get, "I've never seen someone so little do all those things." That was the reaction we got when he climbed bleachers all night long.

Oh dd weighed about 15 pounds when she started walking at 11 months. Everyone thought she was a 6 month old. We got a lot of befuddled looks. My boys always get comments on how big they are for their age. But they are not. They run in the 25 percentile. So it must be ppl think they are younger than they are.

DS is in the 99th percentile on all charts. The pedi said that folks may confuse him for a 2 year old or older -- and they do. It doesn't bother me.

They always think he is older he's long with a lot of hair- my hubby is 6'4

People usually guess spot on for E, or + or - a month. He's been 85th % for length and around 25th % for weight but he doesn't have much hair at all. So I guess he looks pretty close to age. Most people I run into that guess are older men and ladies who have grandkids the same age. They're pretty good!
