Now this is just confusing to me!!!!!!

I'm currently breastfeeding, no period.

I visit my 6 sisters over thanksgiving and they are ALL on their period!!

With a house exploding in estrogen I get my freakin period!

I go back home and no longer have a period.

So I thought the chances of getting pregnant were REALLY low since I'm breastfeeding and my baby barely eats solids??? Maybe that one period was just a freak thing since my sisters were on their periods?

Periods after giving birth and while breast feeding can be strange. I got my first one when DS was 7 weeks old and then didn't get another one for 5 months, even though I had stopped breastfeeding over 2 months before.

I got mine at 9 months PP and they were pretty light. I BF DS for 13 months. Pretty crazy though.

I got AF back at almost exactly 7 months. I nursed until ds was almost 2 yrs. AF came back full on with a regular cycle and all...it was out of the blue and like it had never been gone. Ugh. GL to ya.

I'm still breastfeeding my 2yo DS on demand, and I got my first postpartum period when he was 18mo. My cycles since then have been getting shorter and more regular, but everyone is different.
