  We all have those moments, some ladies have been ttc #1 for several years. So it will all depend on how much emotional, financial and mental roller coaster you can handle.

  Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
  3 cycles clomid with Ob,
  1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
  Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
  clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
  1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
  2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
  3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

  May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

  May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

  February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

  SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!

  Miscarriage 4/23/15

  oooh and clomid has a life max of 6 cycles! Are you seeiing an RE? are you being monitored? be cautious of clomid!

  Yes I have an RE & he's useless. I'm risking my health in hopes of a pregnancy that I'm not monitored even though I know that's not smart. Perhaps I need to find a new RE that can and will help me properly. I did blood work and he did a sono. Both came back fine and normal. Actually my husband and I have been TTC for about three years. A year & a half years ago I had my tubes checked and flushed to see if I had a blockage, which I didn't. Then we decided to stop TTC after no pregnancy. Decided to TTC again it's been a year now and still no success. I'm sad and stressing out because I'm not sure if I should start the clomid this cycle. I feel like I'm at a dead end

  I'm sorry you're feeling so discouraged--sounds like a new RE might be a good idea. Hang in there!

  July 2014: IUI #1.  Follistim + Pregnyl.  2 follicles--BFN

  December 2014: IVF #1.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  9R, 9M, 9F.  3 5-day blasts transferred 12/15. BFFN.

  April 2015: IVF #2.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  16R, 15M, 12F. Transferred 2 5-day blasts 4/12 and froze 4--BFP!  M/C 5/25/15

  Sending you some big hugs. Hope you find an RE who can help.

  ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
  Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

  DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

  So sorry you are going through a rough time. My children are 8 years apart and I'm trying for #3 who will be at least 10 years younger then my last.
  So I know the frustration you are going through.
  From what you said I would run from your current RE and find a new one ASAP. He has you on clomid for 5 cycles and hasn't monitored you at all, that's crazy!!!!
  Don't lose hope just find a RE who knows what they are doing!

  Thank you to all that have given me positive words of wisdom. My husband is trying his best to comfort/support me, but he has no idea what it really feels like. I had a complete meltdown yesterday & only people who are in the TTC with no luck know what I'm dealing with. Thanks ladies

  Run don't walk from your re! Any Dr worth a grain of salt would monitor you! You can have to thin of lining and or get overstimulated...I would go with femera at this point. Good luck!
