I hope that nobody minds if I post this. I have missed the check-in for the past couple of weeks and I know that everyone is busy with the end of their pregnancy, or the arrivals of their little ones, but I thought I'd post it anyway. I love seeing what crafty stuff everyone has been up to, so if you have anything recent to share, post away!!
Here are some photos of what I've been up to lately.
I'm making this Minnie Mouse mobile type thing for baby girl's nursery. I've got a few pictures of what I've done so far, but I've still got a fair bit of work to do.
The other two pictures are of the blanket that I'm knitting (painfully slowly!) for LO. It is the first blanket that I've knit, so I'm happy with how it's turning out so far, I just need to get myself moving on it!
So I've been feeling like crap lately but yesterday I made two burp cloths. They look kind of lumpy but I haven't ironed out the lumps, creases, and wrinkles yet, especially around the edges
So the first one is a sleep sack for LO that I finished last weekend - the cable pattern is made to look like little owls! It's a free pattern off of ravelry. I'm so happy with the way it turned out! The next is an infinity scarf I knit myself this week: The third is a baby blanket I just started for a friend - she doesn't know boy/girl yet so I went with grey/yellow chevron!
I haven't posted anything in a while but I thought I would join in today and share. I got a new sewing machine for Christmas and ever since then, I've been busy making tons of burp clothes and blankets. I made a car seat blanket yesterday that I love!
I haven't done much lately - the blanket I'm working on is going slow. But my mom has been busy making things so I'll share what she has made for the nursery :-)
A changing pad cover and awesome curtains (picture is dark but they are navy and white).
Also pictures of the blankets made by my mom (left) and my MIL (right)
I haven't done anything crafty in a while but when my DD opened her baby doll stroller on Christmas morning she was so excited. She immediately put her baby in and started walking out of the room. When we asked her where she was going, she promptly answered, "Hobby Lobby." I think she gave away my little secret: I'm addicted
No pix yet, but I started LO's blanket! It's a cloud and sky which will have his name in yellow across the sky. I'm about half done so hopefully pix tomorrow!
@Shannahbee, you really are fantastic at knitting. You inspire me to bust out my needles and relearn. But not right now, haha. I have too many projects on my plate that I haven't finished. I need to do those first.

@peanutmuse - thanks so much! I really enjoy it; I only started a couple of years ago so I'm still always trying new things - just figured out knitting in the round recently, so that's opened up a new world (hence all the hats/sleep sack!) I'm not sure how much time I'll have for knitting in a few weeks, though!
