But...I will say that I took one to the one and only gender reveal party I went to. It was just because I wanted to. It was about 3 years ago and it was the first baby in our friend group so us girls were a little bit excited . It's like an engagement party....no gift required but some people like to bring a bottle of wine to those as a nice gesture. If you want to bring a small gift you can, but certainly not required or expected.
thanks, I guess I never show up empty handed either but this couple has a party when the wind blows so Im sure there will be many opps for me to give them baby gifts.
I was invited to a third baby baby shower this weekend. I can't, I just can't.
Gross. Don't go. Don't send a gift. Seriously. Don't encourage this tackiness.
Awkward is that it's a co-worker, and the shower is at work. And I'm fairly friendly with her, but I don't want to encourage AT ALL. There is a $5 onsie on her amazon registry, tempted to just get that. ETA: or I just go eat cake and say hey happy new baby!
