I'm so ready for Monday

The holidays were a lot of fun, but I'm ready to ship off the girls to daycare and spend some quiet-ish time alone with Baby Boy.

How's everyone doing?

    Eh, surviving. Apparently pregnancy brings out the rage in me. :(

    Holy cow! That means he (I think you said it was a ha, or did I dream that?) could be here ANY DAY NOW. How are you doing? you ready?

    Little man is doing good. He just cut his first 2 teeth on Christmas. Well, one was on the 23rd (his 8 month b-day) and the other on Christmas Day. He also started to really babble and it makes me so happy - I can't get enough of his GAGAGAGA BUH BUH BUH :)

    Sleep is still meh but whatever. We're surviving.

    No shame in that!  I am ridiculously excited to send the girls to daycare on the 16th so I can take a solo trip to Denver.  I feel a little ashamed we still have a daycare provider even though I SAH.  But it's great for doctor appointments.  I have a lot of them, and it's nice not to have to take the kids along with me.  We use her maybe twice a month if that.

    I feel a little bad we didn't do Betty's birthday celebration last night.  H didn't get off work until 6:30.  By the time we ate dinner and did baths, it was B's bedtime.  We're doing cake and presents tomorrow

    Glad you can have some solo time with your little man.

    My mom was a SAHM but she still sent me and my brother to DC once a week - No shame in that!

    I'm exhausted.  DD2 is still not sleeping well at night, and the holiday hullabaloo really pushed me over the edge. 

    On a good note, I'm finally starting to take MIL up on her offers to watch the girls for a couple hours here and there,so that I can run errands without dragging everyone along.  Not all the time, maybe once every other week or so.  But it's done me a world of good to get some alone time!  And DH and I are going to try for a date night next week, so that should be nice :)

    Boo to no sleep, but hooray for your MIL! I cannot imagine what I'd do if I had an hour or two to myself!

    I went to the ob this week and she scheduled an induction on Monday! Alyssa will finally be here! I am so ready to cuddle this kid! And DD1 is excited to meet her too. She keeps pulling out onesies and putting them on my belly cause "sissy is cold, mama". It does freak her out when my belly moves. Then.she will point at it and say "Calm down, sissy!" Lol
