  No suggestions because I would put this in the "baby crap you don't really need" category. If you're desperate to waste the money and have space for unnecessary stuff then go for it. Thee's no reason you can't just boil the bottles and nipples.
  
  And I doubt if anyone sterilizes bottles after every use. We just did so when they were new. Now they get thrown in the dishwasher.

  I have the avent one and I use it a lot!. I am one of the crazy ones that sterilizes a botlle after every use and I also sterilize my pacifiers once a day . I choose the electric one after forgetting that I had bottles in boiling water and melting them.

  I have the dr.browns and I love it and I use mine every day we don't have a dishwasher so we get a lot of use out of the sterilizer

  All of this.  We boiled all our bottle stuff before the first use.  Now we just wash it with soap and water.
