Could someone please explain Amazon Prime to me?

So, is it free shipping all the time, or only for the 3 month trial? And it costs $79/year, but it's worth it because of the discounts? Do you buy all your diapers, wipes and essentials through prime? I'm thinking about trying it because I know several of you love it.

    Shipping is free all the time as long as it is a prime item. We thought about diapers, but we haven't yet.

    I also love prime. I had the 3 month free trial and cancelled it. I was going to sign up for a student membership since I still have my .edu email address (it's half price!!) and then realized I could just hop on my moms membership for free!!

    Prime is amaaaaaazing. I ordered B 6 refillable baby food pouches on Wed night for $9 and they'll be here today!

    Thanks ladies! I'm signing up! I have a couple other questions now. When I went to sign up for Prime, it automatically took me to the Amazon Mom page, which I don't mind to sign up for either. Are they one and the same?

    Second, (sorry if this is a dumb question) can I use the Kindle books and videos via my Samsung tablet?

    Prime & Amazon Mom are awesome! I buy all of our diapers and wipes (Pampers) and it's always the best price, even compared to using coupons when diapers are on sale.
