GTKY & YK (Get To Know You & Your Kid(s)

We are going to do a little spin on GTKY & YK Friday… This week I want you to tell us 3 TRUE things about yourself and 1 FALSE thing about yourself. The same goes for your kid(s). We will take a week to guess what is the false statement you provided and next week on Thursday January 16th, you will revel which one was false. We can do that by going back and highlighting which statement was false. The same for you kids. This will give us time to guess which is wrong and have fun with it.

Please let me know if this doesn't make sense.... I will go first.

1)    1)      I have 14 piercings, including my ears and nipples, and other areas.
2)      I have 3 tattoos, and one of them looks funny and is misshapen from my multiple surgeries. ~~ I do not have any tattoos.
3)      I am 5’9” and I drive a Black Nissan Xterra, my Xterra was the first car I ever purchased from a dealership.
4)      As a child I almost died from having double pneumonia and was in bed for 2 months unable to eat.

1)      DS is 6’ 3” tall and is very muscular. He works out.
2)      DS has a learning disability called Dyspraxia, which has caused him numerous problems with reading and writing.
3)      DS has a girlfriend oddly enough named Stephanie - DS only has a crush on a girl named Stephanie. Hopefully one day she will go out with him, because she is a nice girl.
4)   DS got his drivers permit late, because he was afraid to test, and didn't want to drive.

2.) Had a hard time sleeping as a baby. <<< he slept like a Little log and still does.

3.) was born before my baby shower

4.) likes to play the piano.

3.) I drive a jacked up Chevy, and its the first & only vehicle I've ever had.

2.) I have several guns in my house.

3.) I have broken many bones in my body. I have never broken any bones. DH says I didn't have a very fun childhood because of that!

4.) I have two college degrees.

2.) She only eats cheeseburgers and french fries. The kid only likes fruits and veggies. We have to make her eat meat and she always chooses fruit for her side when we go to fast food restaurants.

1) I love REALLLY hot places.- I cannot STAND being hot, when I lived in Florida (right on the beach) I stayed inside where it was airconditioned.

2) Singing is my passion.

3) I would rather read than watch a movie.

4) I have never had a brand new car.

DD

1) Anytime she sees a present she will say either Merry Christmas or start singing Happy Birthday.

2) She calls her Grandma - Gwam! (Gram).

3) Her favorite food since a little after her first birthday has been eggrolls.

4) She hates chocolate milk. - I have yet to meet a child that hates chocolate milk.

Jeffrey (17 months)
1. He loves the song blurred lines by robin thicke
2. He is afraid of water
3. The only meat that he will eat is meatballs.
4. He consistently sleeps 12 hours a night, without waking up

***Update: I can't figure out how to highlight but no. 4 is false for me and no 2 is false for Jeffrey. I hate talking on the phone, I would rather email and jeffrey loves water - both the pool and bathtime!

DS (4 yrs old) 1. Does soccer and swimming lessons

I forgot to play!

Me:

1. I was a fastpitch pitcher in college and hold the record for most strikeouts/season.

2. I have 2 dogs and a cat.

3. I love flying. Bleh! Flying makes me nauseous, and I feel like I'm breathing old air :-&

4. MH proposed on horseback.

DDs (5yrs and 3yrs)

1. DD2 learned to ride her bike without training wheels when she was 3.

2. DD1 is obsessed with milk.

3. Both are very athletic.

4. Both can sing well. HA! Both sing like me and their father - lousy! We do love our singing dance parties though!
