Lurker from IF--question for those who did 5 day transfers

I am currently 9dp5dt and I've been getting negative hpt's. I have been vacillating between dispair and hope. I need to step away from Dr. Google! Just wondering if you POAS at what day did you get a bfp? Am I out if the running? Thanks for indulging me. :-).

TTC since 3/2011 Adenomyosis, LPD, hypothyroidism. 
BFP on 7/20/12 after 4 cycles Clomid + IUI 
2 large subchorionic hematomas & no heartbeat at 7w6d   
D&E 8/18/12 Sonohysterography found septum and necrotic tissue.   
Hysteroscopy to remove both 10/5
IUI #5-7 50mg Clomid + trigger = BFN  
IUI #8 Femara + Bravelle + HCG + Progesterone = BFP 3/27/13
Beta 1 (13dpo) = 169  Beta 2 (17dpo) = 1073  No heartbeat at 9w3d. 
D & C 5/10/13  Triploidy 69 (paternal inherited)
IVF #1 with ICSI and PGS 11R 8M 5F 2 biopsied/frozen
PGS results = 1 with trisomy 13 & 1 good embryo for FET 
FET #1 EV, estrace, nitro patches.  Cancelled due to thin lining
FET #1.2 oral estrace, f'ing nitro patches and no delestrogen.  Transfer 12/31. BFN
PAIF/SAIF welcome
Surprise BFP on 6/13/14  Our only unmedicated bfp ever.
Beta #1 339  Beta #2 649 44 hour doubling time

    Feb'12- July'12-testing(all clear minus slight arcuate ute), 3 IUI with clomid all BFN
    8/30IVF#1 Antagonist protocol- ER 9/11-8R, 7M, 5F. 
    ET 9/14 2 embies transferred. 1 10cell Grade 4, 1 8cell Grade 4. No frosties. BFN
    IVF#2 Antagonist protocol plus baby aspirin- ER 12/5-16R, 12M, 8F!
    ET 12/10 5dt! 1 fully expanded blast & 1 early blast. No frosties. BFN
    3/13 hysteroscopy & polypectomy, Consulted w Dr. Kwak-Kim.  
    DX: High NK cells, cytokines, DHEAs& PAI1;  hypothyroid, +APA, restricted bloodflow
    7/13 IVF#3 Long lupron protocol with PIO, Crinone, Prometrium, and vivelle
    (plus synthroid, metformin, baby asa, metanx, PNV, Vit E, D, calcium, fish oil, CoQ10, IVIg infusions and lovenox per Dr. Kwak-kim)
    ER 7/19 14R, 11M, 9F(4 natural fert, 5 with ICSI)
    ET 5dt 7/24 2 fully expanded blasts.  SURPRISE 3 FROSTIES!!!
    Beta #1 8/2 335!!!! Beta #2 829!!!  1st u/s 8/14 showed TWINS!!!!!

    Sorry- I didn't pee on a stick either! Was too scared because I had AF symptoms . My beta was 11dp5dt.

    I POAS everyday. I used wondos and never got a positive. Had wine the night before my beta because I was so upset. My beta ended up being 75! The next day the wondo was positive. My beta was 9dp5dt

    The night before my 1st beta I n it was positive. Beta was 9dp5dt. Good luck :)

    Me = 28 diagnosed w/ PCOS on Aug 6 2013 / O neg. bloodtype / Rh-
    DH = 28 low morph/ low volume / A pos. bloodtype
    m/c at 4w2d on 12/1/12 mtx 12/13/12 (ectopic/Rh- supposed factors)
    m/c at 8w1d on 6/5/13 mtx 6/5/13 (ectopic/ no visable sac at 7 weeks)
    saline sono – 8/9/13 uterus all clear
    1 IVF cycle start date/started stims 10/2/13
                                ER 10/15 24R 19M 18F - we have 10 frosties ;) ET scheduled for 10/21

    I got a squinter at 4dp5dt and a definite light line at 5dp5dt.  But negative tests could mean a lower beta rather than a negative one, and that can still turn out just fine.  Sometimes you have a slow starter.  GL!

    I got a pretty clear positive at 6dp6dt and beta was 8dp6dt. But then again I also have two cooking so it might have been double the HCG. You're not out yet, good luck with your beta!

    I first POAS on 6dp5dt and it was positive, it would've been on 5dp as well....but I have 2 babies as well.  Good luck!!

    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    Hi Neesey! I didn't POAS after 5dt. Went beta or bust until 14dp5dt. I did have symptoms though: nausea, tenderness... Have you had any?

    A little nausea but nothing major. I haven't been sleeping well so I can't tell what my tiredness is from. Some cramping and slightly tender boobs too. My progesterone was pretty high at 55 so I'm assuming that's responsible for my symptoms. I'll get results tonight. Hoping I get to join you ladies again!

    Good luck! I was positive 7dp5dt. Beta was 9dp and was 396, but I also have two. I also didn't have any symptoms until 6 weeks.

    I only waited until 5 dpt and with twins it was a very faint positive. I've known other ladies to get negative HPTs and positive betas. That's why we're supposed to wait for that beta and not drive ourselves mad in the meantime. ;) FX for you - hope to see you over here soon.

    I was too scared to POAS! :D  I waited it out for the blood test results.  Everyone thought I was insane and was trying to throw test sticks at me.

    First of all, good luck!  Hopefully you'll be coming over here :-)

    Second, I'm insane and POAS the night of 3dp6dt.  At the time I didn't see anything, but now that it's dry, there's a super duper squinter with a FRER (yes, I still have all of the sticks I peed on in a row on one of the desks in our office - I'm a nut).  Then I POAS/FRER the next morning at 4dp6dt and had a 'squinter' but it wasn't really a squinter, it was just super duper light but definitely there.  Every day after that it got darker and darker.  My beta was 9dp6dt and at that point I was at 109.

    Also, it depends on which HPT you're using.  I got tons of negatives with the crappy Wondfo ones, even after I had nice strong betas.  I even peed on them and FRERs at the same time out of curiosity a couple times and the lines on them were really really faint or not there and the FRER was clear as day.  If you're using the cheapo ones I wouldn't sweat it at all.

    I got my first positive at 6dp5dt but like others, we are having twins which I believe drove the early positive.  Don't give up!  It is still early and very dependent on which type of test you are using.  Fingers crossed that you get your positive!

    Wishing you the best. I hope this is it! I agree it depends on what type of hpt. On the FRER I got a definite line on 6dp5dt. Every pregnancy and person is different though. I've heard many stories of women with negative HPT and positive betas. 
    DX: Ovulatory Disorder/ Anovulation (possible PCOS)
    DD (2 yrs) conceived 2nd IUI w/ Gonal F

    TTC#2: IUI #1 and 2: BFN; IUI #3 CP; IUI #4 BFN; IUI #5 CP 
    Sept/Oct 2013 IVF#1: Antagonist: 27 R, 27 M, 22 F (7 frozen)
    5dt of one AA blast
    Beta #1: 12dp5dt: 1,093 Beta #2: 14dp5dt: 2,497
    Due date: 6/22/14 :)

    My sticks were right. Both betas were negative. We are done with treatments and have decided to live child free. We won't prevent but our chances are less than nil. Thank you ladies for all you support. Thoughts and prayers with you always.

    I didn't get a positive POAS until 6dp5dt - all negative up until that point, even that morning.  Then I "felt" different that afternoon and took a digital POAS test, and it was positive!!

    TTC since July 2011
     
    Me(33): normal HSG; diagnosed with mild PCOS

    DH(35): normal SA
     
    *6 cycles no meds, July-Dec. 2011, all BFN
     
    *Clomid for 3 cycles, Jan-March 2011: BFP March 2011
     
    *MC at 6 weeks

    *2 cycles off
     
    *Started TTC again July 2012 with Clomid, 6 cycles from July-Dec. 2012, all BFN
     
    *1 cycle no meds: BFN
     
    *1 cycle Femara: BFN
     
    *1st RE visit March 2013 - first IUI in April 2013 with Femara, Menopur, and Novarel (BFN); second IUI in May 2013, same protocol (BFN); two cycle break;  third IUI in August 2013, same protocol (BFN)

    *1st IVF cycle, October 2013 (Synarel, Menopur (75 iu), and Gonal-F (150 iu)) -- BFP!!  Saw two babies at our 5wk5d u/s on Oct. 28th!  EDD=June 25, 2014

    I didn't POAS either. I had my beta 7dp5dt and a 20,000 hcg trigger so I was nervous that I would get a false positive and be crushed. I am now 10w2d :) I know it's hard, but just wait.
