THIRD trimester sex drive??!

Hi everybody, this is my first time on the Third Tri board!  Very excited :)

My question is have any of you experienced a sex drive INCREASE in the third tri?  It's so weird, it has happened to me starting last friday.  Everytime I look at my husband that's all I think about!! Wink I've heard of the 2nd tri increase (which was the opposite for me, I didn't even want to think about sex in the 2nd).  I guess I should be happy about it!  I know my husband is! LOL

    I had more sex drive from mid 2nd tri through about 35 weeks.  Now I'm so big and everything is so much grosser that while I still enjoy it from time to time the major drive is gone and it's for induction purposes only.  Haha!

    mine did but unfortunately my DH worried about hurting the baby but he reconsidered once he found out about the 6week sex ban lol

    the beginning of third tri seemed to be happening more often but like you a lot more often than 2nd tri. DH told me the other day that he will miss pregnant sex but can't wait until we have more options for different positions again!

    I agree with the other ladies.   I had a sex drive increase at the beginning of 3rd tri.  But now.. Definintely a decrease it is very very uncomfortable!  Enjoy it while you still can~!

    Haha this maes me laugh. For me my sex drive is down im really not interested. Everytime me and my DH do ha ve sex he makes a comment about how im just using him for his sperm. (I hate to say it, but he's right)

    I had a small increase but it didn't last very long, lol.  I never had one in 2nd tri, either.

    As huge as I am it is uncomfortable. And I dont think that DH likes it anymore either. But who would when you are as big as a house and leaking so much vaginal fluids?! I have updated my siggy, I was supposed to be only 33 wks. but the Dr upped my due date yesterday to 35.5 weeks. Yay. So now if we have sex it is purely science. For labor only.

    I had a MAJORLY high sex drive prior to pregnancy; in fact, sometimes my husband would say no to me (reverse of stereotypes!).  Unfortunately, I have had NO sex drive during my entire pregnancy.  I still find my husband to be very sexy, but I am just not in the mood at all.  It's so sad!  Of course, we are still having sex, but I wish I were more excited about it.  Also, now I'm so big that it's uncomfortable!

    hmm... I'm jealous! I haven't had my normal sex drive since getting pregnant. I think most of it is me not feeling sexy and my husband's fear of hurting me or the baby.

    I just want sex in the hopes that I wont be overdue Stick out tongue  I know I have PLENTY of time left, but I thought trying to keep it up would help!

    Had the typical increase in the 2nd tri. Getting to be so big it is getting more and more uncomfortable, but I wouldn't say I have lost my drive quite yet.

    I do have a question though, probably ::TMI:: I apologize in advance.

    Has anyone every experienced temp. loss of bladder control during climax? This happened to me the other night and freaked me out! Could def kill my sex drive!

    Yes, but I think it is more circumstantial/mental than hormonal. I've had a pretty low sex drive this pregnancy but suddenly wanted to "reconnect," etc. Plus my 2 year old just started STTN the last couple months and the awareness that we have ~10 weeks or so before we have a newborn again is a bit of a motivator.

    First tri sex was GREAT when I wasn't feeling ill.  Second was alright until I got varicose veins around my vulva and hemorrhoids (sorry if it's TMI).  They're horrible.  Crazy, but DH looks sexier than ever these days to me, but I don't feel like being touched at all (except for a back-rub), let alone having sex. With my first pregnancy (I'm 37 weeks into my second), I had more of a sex drive the entire time.  However, my nether regions were more in tact, I was three years younger, we didn't have a toddler keeping us on our toes during the day....

    No, but I have to pee several times in the hours after sex if I have an orgasm.  I'm sure it's something to do with muscles and ligaments loosening due to the baby and endorphins.

    Sex drive went up..then when it comes to having sex..sorry it sucks! I may only be 30 weeks but it's too uncomfortable.

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    I don't believe I have lost my sex drive at all! This is my fourth, and maybe that's why we keep reproducing, lol. I never turn him down, because I am usually in the mood. It's getting a little tricky here lately, my belly being in the way. And, afterwards I have been having BH contractions, which is threatening my husband into not wanting to for fear of premature labor.

    Married 11/27/09 and TTC right away
    Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect
    4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs
    Baby 1 and 2: BFP 3/3/11 with 2 babies EDD 11/1/11, M/C 4/6/11
    Baby #3: 8/11 pregnant EDD 4/27/11 and m/c:(
    Baby #4: 10/12/11 BFP! EDD 6/16/12m/c 10/26/11
    Baby #5: 3/13/12 BFP! EDD 11/25/12 ANOTHER m/c :(

    Baby #6: 2/14/13- BFP! EDD 10/24/13, CP 2/19/13
    Baby #7: 3/15/13- BFP! EDD 11/27/13, another CP
    Baby #8.  BFP 5/19/13 EDD 1/22/14. 8 was not our lucky number

    4th septum resection on 5/31/13.
    Baby #9: 6/29/13 BFP. C section scheduled for March 5th!

    My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!
