Blood on my hoodie

Our car seat is currently in the house while we are down to one car (we get our new one Saturday, woot woot!). DH got mad at where I had it yesterday because he kept stubbing his toes on it, so he moved it somewhere else. I got mad at where he put it (on top of the old car seat that is in the living room because it is null and void from our accident and we still need to trade it back to our insurance) because I was worried about DS trying to pull himself up in it and it falling on him. So DH moved it and placed it on its back flat on the floor in the dining room. Cue this morning while I am making breakfast. DS disappears around the corner, and I didn't think too much of it until I hear the bang and he starts crying. He crawled along the back of the seat and over the seat part, face planted and busted his lip. He also has a bruised forehead. This is our first bloody incident and I feel bad that I knew he would be fascinated with it and that I didn't think of the possibility of him climbing over it! When I had put it on the floor, at least I had it face down. I never thought to turn it back after DH placed it where he had. Bad mama! Awe... Poor kid. And now I have his blood all over the shoulder of my hoodie.

Re: Blood on my hoodie

  • This happened to me once. I was told to rinse it in cold water, put powdered detergent on the area and put ice cubes to melt on top. Not sure why but it worked. Maybe try something like that?

Sorry lo hurt his lip! :(

  • Aww, poor baby! It's not your fault - accidents happen. Hope he feels better soon!
