Before the holiday break, we had a good thing going. I would wake up at 4:30, feed B in bed, he would fall asleep and then I would get up get ready and be out the door by 6. Since I didn't have to go to work for 2.5 weeks, we got really off. Now it is a shit show! B won't wake up in the morning, and then he won't fall back asleep so I can get ready, and then my H is annoyed that he has to get up earlier. I tried getting ready first this morning and then feeding and B spit up IN MY HAIR. It's just a mess.
I know the following things HAVE to happen- I need to be walking out the door at 6 and it is helpful if I look a little like a professional. And I have to do something about my completely engorged morning boobs. My H goes to work much later than me, so I don't have to deal with the daycare drop off.
Anyway, what is working for you ladies in the morning???

Re: Help me figure out my morning
Now he goes to bed around 10pm, gets up 3 times a night, gets up for the day at 9. His naps are only 2 a day now, and he's refusing a bottle!
It can't be the time change, we've gained an hour. I don't know what's up,buti miss our routine prior to the move.
Sorry....no advice. :-(

Our lil' diva: late like her Momma: 40 weeks 5 days!
6:00 - i get up and shower
6:15 - h gets up to shower, i dry my hair and continue to get ready for work
6:30 - h out of shower, gets dressed
6:35 - h wakes up lo, changes his diaper, and dresses him for the day
6:40 - i take over with lo, and nurse (one side only, use manual pump on other side at the same time), h gets breakfast and feeds the dogs
7:00 - lo is done eating, hand him off to h while i finish getting ready for the day. sometimes i'm already dressed at this point, sometimes not.
7:10 - we are all downstairs, lo hangs out in jumper or swing while we finish getting stuff ready, bottles together, lunches, etc.
7:15 - we all walk out the door, h takes lo to daycare
this has worked for us since i went back to work after maternity leave - i've become much more efficient in the mornings! lo has only woken up on his own early a handful of times, and when that happens i usually feed him first, and then we just switch things around. i do feel kind of bad because he will sleep until 7:30 or 8 on the weekends with the same bedtime routine the night before, so i know he would like to sleep longer. but he also takes a morning nap at daycare, and is happy in the mornings.
