Unpopular opinions??

We don't have a Thursday checkin I've noticed (not that it matters) but I stole this from another board if you ladies wanna play along...share your unpopular opinion!


For example : I actually liked the movie the Blair Witch Project and I'm not a big fan of chocolate.

September 2013 Timed Intercourse, Weekly Acupuncture, Herbs=BFN
October 2013 Timed Intercourse, Weekly Acupuncture, Herbs, and "warming foods" = BFP
Beta #1 19, Beta #2 18 Progesterone 4.6 Miscarried 11/9/13
November 2013 - Benched, waiting for first post-loss AF.
No longer benched per New RE/OB!
Jan. 15 2014 - BFP. HCG 3900 - Ectopic :( 
Jan. 16 2014 Left tube removed and D&C
March 2, 2014 First AF

    Good call @KC1212! I think we did have a Thursday one when we set it all up, but whoever volunteered isn't very active anymore. I think it was supposed to be like a crazy train thread, maybe?

    Anyway, unpopular opinions...I think pro football is boring. Sometimes I tune into the Superbowl to catch the commercials and half-time show.

    Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
    2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
    BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
    RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
    ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    I hate going shopping.  I know we have shoppers on this board, so I think this is probably a pretty unpopular opinion.  I do sometimes get in an online shopping mood but then I later regret it when I'm paying off the credit card bill.

    Yeah it was something like that, but I think it happened one week and then never again.  We can always move the GTKY thread to Thursdays and have DDF on Fridays?  

    I will have to think about the unpopular opinions... i have quite a few, I am sure.

    I think that's a good idea @freakyfast.  Fridays seem like busiest day around here with GTKY and DDF on the same day.  And from a selfish perspective, Friday is a difficult day for me to get on TB. :)

    I would be willing to take on the Thursday post ...whaterver you guys want to do for it. I am in Alaska so my 8am is like you all's 10am or later. haha. 

    UO: I hate mini adult clothes on kids, i.e words on the butt pants, super tight and form fitting clothes, it makes me stabby even when I see a preteen/teenager wearing leggings all up their butt and sporting a camel toe (bad visiual I know). You want to wear leggings? thats cool wear a sweater dress with it or a long flowy tunic top. Not a halter top or tube top or a damn sparkling madonna bra.

    Ha!  I also don't like little girls dressing all skanky.  Totally agree with you!

    For my UO, I don't like seeing newbies getting flamed for dumb questions.  I know the questions are redundant and annoying and sometimes they really are MUD (in that case, yes, FLAME AWAY).  But when they are just naive and probably too lazy to do a google search, I would rather one person answer honestly, then everyone else ignore the post.  I feel bad for them.

    This is really an unpopular opinion between me and DH but I love dressing Jeffrey in John johns with Peter Pan collars. I just think they are adorable! DH thinks it makes him look like a girl but I love them for this age!!

    I always have a hard time thinking of unpopular opinions but I love these types of threads bc it helps us get to know each other!

    I'm with you. Honest response and then I'm ready to ignore. I know not everyone gets the whole online community forum "rules." Took me forever to feel comfortable posting. But I'm also all for throwing snark back if they get there undies in a bunch after receiving decent feedback.

    I have been busy today, so I will post the GTKY tomorrow and if it needs to be changed we can do it next week, or we can add a whole new 'thread' to Thursdays.  Don't matter.

    I cannot stand Josh Groban. His voice makes my skin crawl. I do not know why. I have friends who think he is gorgeous and I can't even look at him without hearing "you lift me uuuuup" and then wanting to plug my ears.

    Also, I think Miley Cyrus' recent shenanigans are a smart ploy to get Disney to say "yeah, ok. We don't want to own you anymore."

    My UP is... I hate skinny jeans.  I just can't get on board.  I still prefer my bootcut.  I did buy one pair of straight leg jeans this summer but that is as far as I go!

    Mine would have to be people that come to 2IF, get months and months of support, encouragement & advice from us... & then leave with their BFP without saying a word.
