Just wondering and I know I am new here so LMK, but do you guys often just chit chat? I am a working mom and use the bump mainly to pass time. I really enjoy a lot of the ladies on other boards and would love to get to know you guys better. So is it ok to talk randoms?? As long as no overly bitchy, cliquey, high school girls <--- (you know what I mean?) move in I think it could be fun! 

Who are regulars here? I totally respect rankings :)

    I totally looooove random chit chat. I love to talk.

    And I was here in the beginning of the board creation, disappeared for a brief time due to stuff, and came back.. and now everyone is stuck with me :)

    YAY, ok I was just wondering. I didn't want to be the crazy talking about some random stuff and everyone just like "what??!!"

    I like this board. You guys may have to be stuck with me as well.

    Not to sound terrible, but I think it helps that most of us are nowhere near 21 anymore and we just kind of love being parents to our only kids-- which are onlies for very specific reasons so that's where our emphasis is. I have no tolerance for nastiness and people complaining just to make trouble. I avoid several other boards specifically for that reason. I like that this board is not like that hope it never will be!

    The bottom half of your comment is the exact reason I decided to branch out. The vibe on this board is seriously awesome.

    I disappeared for the holidays but I'm back! I like this board, I'm glad I found it too. I'm usually mobile so I don't post as often as I'd like because it's a pita.

    Although I think I need to learn how to find and post gifs to keep up with you @jackofthebox, lol.

    I hang out here a bit, I'm not positive about OAD. DH keeps insisting he's done and while I can see all the perks there is just a nagging gut feeling that I want one more so I mostly feel like I don't belong. I am trying to get more used to the idea of being OAD incase that is our decision though.

    Our decision will probably be made in June when we find out where our next posting is and how affordable the city will be.

    I have been on boards where you literally need to watch your toes and newbies to the board are not that welcomed :(

    I also hate when people get so freaking anal about punctuation/grammar/spelling. We are on an internet forum please go be an english teacher if it bothers you that much.

    One of my favorite passive aggressive lead-in comments that I've seen on TB starts with "I'm confused by this..." F you. You are not confused, you just want to be an asshole and make the person feel stupid for asking a question (which may or not be stupid). There's a big difference between confusion and being a dick.
    This seriously!! Also when they immediately jump on someone for having their own opinion.

    I've been really lucky with boards! Jan '13 is amazing and the OAD board is also great, even though I consider myself a fence sitter it helps me get more comfortable with the idea of possibly being done with DD.

    When I was a brand new, sleep deprived mom, I used to post questions on other boards.  Even though I sometimes got not so nice responses, I continued to do it because I got some valuable input too.  Now I still post on other boards from time to time, but this board is amazing compared to any other board I've either lurked or posted on.  :)
