I stepped on the scale just out of curiosity this morning and low and behold....14lbs lighter....exactly what I weighed in August. What a kick in the pants, not even two weeks and my exterior body has already gone back to default mode. Ugh.

I had a similar experience pp and was totally taken aback. I couldn't eat anything besides a bite or two a day so when I was weighed at a 2 wk pp visit, I was already below my pre-pregnancy weight. With awful morning sickness, I had only gained a net of 8 lbs, so and having lost it all plus more was devastating. I wore only yoga pants and sweatshirts for a good month because I couldn't bear putting on my regular clothes.

I was amazed at how quickly I dropped the pregnancy weight. I was back in my regular clothes 2-3 weeks after Devon was born sleeping. A part of me was relieved I could pack up my maternity clothes and shove them in the back of a closet, but a part of me was pissed that I was back in a regular pair of jeans when I should have been 38-39 weeks pregnant. It just wasn't fair. Such a hard thing to deal with. *hugs*
(((Hugs))). I remember getting back to pre-pregnancy size quickly and feeling such mixed emotions about it. Though I wanted to be glad to have lost the baby weight quickly, it was such a painful reminder of what should have been. Sending so many (((hugs))).
I'm sorry that your pre-pregnancy weight reminds you of your loss... But stuffing your face in hopes to keep the idea of your pregnancy at the forefront of your mind isn't the best strategy either. ((Hugs)) to you all.
