I'm being a PW today but whatever.
It's been awhile since I've had some alone time where I've been able to go out and do something without Ava and/or my H. But today I get to! My alone time will consist of getting a PAP smear and possibly stopping for groceries on the way home. Woo. I'm seriously thinking about parking somewhere and taking a nap in the car....although I'll probably freeze.
How often do you all get some time to yourselves?

I am super lucky in that my schedule allows me a few hours almost every Friday of pure alone time! We pay for K to go to MDO on M W & F. I work M, W, and Th but my mom watches him Thursdays so I have from about 9:30- 2:30 to do whatever I want on Fridays. That usually consists of laundry, dishes, and various things around the house, but every once in a while I get to sew, shop, or just lay around and watch a movie all by myself. Its amazing.
Its funny too because our MDO program only offers either a T,TH option for class or a M,W,F option. At first I was mad we had to pay for an extra day and I thought I would feel guilty and never use it, but now I use it almost every week and have absolutely NO guilt. K loves it there and everyone needs some me time!
@zyas K goes to MDO at my parents' church so that is how we found it. It is actually called an Early Learning Center and they pride themselves on not being your typical MDO, but they are also not a daycare program. The hours they offer was what initially drew me there but the staff and the facility is amazing as well!
They offer "normal" hours from 9-2:30 M-F and extended care hours from 7-9 and from 2:30-4:30 M-F. You have 3 payment options based on normal hours where you pay either for the entire week, for just T and Th, or for M, W & F. Then you pay for extended care as you need it. K attends M, W, and F and I work all day M, half a day W, and all day Th. So we only pay for extended care (early and late) on Mondays.
So basically, if you worked full time, you could still send your kid to this MDO program from 7-4:30 everyday and it would be half the price of a normal daycare! The staff is amazing and they have a huge indoor and outdoor play area for the kids and only about 4-7 kids per class (5 in K's). I love it so much!!
