I've done a couple. It isn't bad, just a little inconvenient.
This exactly. It's really NBD. Just pee in the cup (they gave me a large collection container), and pour it in the big jug. Keep the jug in the fridge, and return it to the lab the next day.
I've had to do it a couple of times. My only problem was that I filled up the jug and still had 8 hours to go! Had to steal another jug from my MILs office.
I had to do it twice- once for a baseline and once at the end of my pregnancy. The most annoying thing was that the jugs my office gave were too small- and they knew it because it came with instructions on what to do if (when) you ran out of room in the jug they gave you...so I had to make sure and have a clean vessel ready for the overflow...
I've done it 3 times (once this pregnancy, twice last). It's annoying but otherwise it's not a big deal. You get a little pan to put on the toilet to pee in, then dump that into the jug. Keep it refrigerated. Easy peasy.
