Tossed my cookies

Well.. yesterday didn't go so well for my second attempt at the 3 hour glucose test. This time my wife was with me, and I at least got sick into a bucket vs the floor- so that was a plus! 

Now I'm waiting to set up an appointment with the local hospitals diabetic center so I can start taking readings of my blood sugars. :( 

Has anyone else dealt with gestational diabetes that can give me some good tips and meal ideas??

    @pinkspark, check over on the high-risk board. There is a whole group of women with GD so definitely read some of the past threads. Another idea is (shh!) babycenter dot com, there are specific groups for GD there. Bummer but glad you are taking care of it!

    Dec. '12 - Donor Egg/Donor Sperm IVF Cycle - 4 good embies!
    Dec. '12 - Fresh transfer, BFP! EDD 8/29/13
    Mar. '13 - Missed m/c at 16w1d, baby boy stopped growing at 15w4d
    Loss due to umbilical cord clot...baby was perfect. :(
    Jul '13 - FET#1 - c/p
    Sept. '13 - FET#2 - BFN
    Dec.' 2, 2013 - FET#3 with our last chance embie - BFP!!!
    Dec' 26, 2013 - hb!!
    EDD 8/20/14 with a baby girl!
    Little S was born on 8/21/14 - 8lb, 14 oz and 20 inches long.
    We live in Seattle and used SRM for our donor egg IVF cycle

    I was a GD mom. Work with diet and check frequently on your numbers. It took some time but it did work out. My LB was too big to be birth through the birth canal so I had a c-section. You'll be alright and remember -- your kid is now super sweet!
