I just want to update everyone on my situation. Some of you may know that I had bleeding over the weekend and went into the doctor on Monday. I had been having a lot of pressure and tightness in my stomach so they wanted to be sure everything was okay. During the appointment the doctor discovered my cervix was soft and the baby was very low which concerned him.
They thought that my cervix may have been too short or I didn't have enough amniotic fluid. So we went in for an ultrasound today for measurements. I am so happy and relieved that my cervix is 3 cm and they want it to be more than 2.5 at this point (I hope I am remembering that correctly, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.) anyway it is measuring great. The doctor was very happy with my fluid as well. She then did a cervix exam to see if there were any changes with that and it is still soft. So I will be going in weekly to have my cervix checked to make sure that it's not shortening or dilating.
The baby is definitely taking after H because it was very uncooperative and couldn't sit still. It was fun being able to watch the baby. Thanks again for all the kind words and encouragement you all have given me the past few days!
