I get off bed rest on Friday. DH and I are celebrating by going out to dinner and a movie. There are several out that I want to see but haven't heard any great reviews...
Opinions ladies?!
Also, Saturday I'm going to get a pedicure!!! sigh.... my poor fat toes need some TLC.
Re: NBR- Seen any good movies lately (in theater)?
I had read Marcus Luttrell's book that Lone Survivor was based on. It was much better (of course) and I was disappointed in the movie because they left out a lot of what was much more relevant to the story. But, of course, it's Hollywood and the violence sells...
DD2: February 2014
We've seen Saving Mr. Banks and American Hustle. I liked both a lot. One thing to be warned about though is that while Saving Mr. Banks is a great movie, it's being marketed as a lot more "feel good" than I think it is. P.L. Travers had a relatively unhappy childhood and there are a lot of flashbacks to it.
I really want to see Wolf of Wall Street next. I've just heard that it's really long (almost 3 hours), so haven't wanted to pay our babysitter for long enough to see it and have dinner yet
Her is on my list - I've heard great things. I have not read good things about August:Osage County, though.
Thank you for the input everyone!!!
