XP from M14: FFing and bras

We are FFing from day 1. What bras did you use in the hospital or when you're milk came in? Did you have to sleep in one with pads to prevent leaking? Any other suggestions.?

  • You likely won't be leaking much in the hospital since your milk would take a few days to come in. I went braless, no pads while in the hospital. Once your milk arrives, normal bras or sports bras with pads should be fine. My hospital even sent me home with pads, so didn't need to run out and buy any for the first few days. Good luck!
Can't figure out the signature thing, so here's the short, short version.....first daughter born on November 10, 2013. She was conceived through the magic of IVF after 2+ years of TTC.

  • I wore a bra (just a regular, every day bra) 24/7 for like 3 weeks. I had breast pads on 24/7 as well.

I also took allegra-D for a few days (4, I think). With my 3rd baby, it dried up my milk within a week. For my 4th baby, it seemed to do nothing, as I continued to leak for 3-4 weeks.

Personally, I never had engorgement or pain. They were full-feeling for about 2 days (at about 5 days PP) and that was it. After that, they felt regular/soft, not hard/full. But they did continue to leak if I didn't constantly have a bra on.
