Also outside DC. My car thermometer read between 5 and 7 while I was driving to work. Wind chill is well below zero. After work I'm going to try the freezing bubbles thing I keep seeing on Facebook!
In Denver we are up from yesterday's 9 degrees to 35 degrees! Not sure what the windchill was yesterday but it stung to be outside longer than 15 seconds.
Let's vent about the weather!
Where are you located and what's the temperature/windchill there this morning?
Here in Detroit it's -11F, "feels like" -34!
Hey! I'm just outside of Windsor! So basically my weather is the same as this.
I'm in North Alabama and it's 8 degrees right now with a wind chill of -5. For this southern girl, that is REALLY cold! It's been in the teens since Sunday night and the high today is 20. Tomorrow we'll be back to normal- high of 42, thank goodness!

Just don't try the "throw boiling water in the air to make snow" thing that I keep seeing - people keep getting burned.
It's not as bad as it was yesterday in Chicago, Today is -3 feels like -23. I hope spring comes early this year. I so can't wait to spend time with sophie outside instead of always in the house.
Freeeezing where I live. It's -30C sooo I think about -22F if I'm correct? Gotta love being in canada it was -40C with windchill the other day.. You can literally put skates on and skate down the street right now. Although I wouldn't advise even going outside unless absolutely necessary... We were advised from our plumbing company to keep a tap running water so our pipes don't freeze! Lol
It's a little bit warmer now in Southern Ontario (it's -19C right now where I am) but we still have a windchill warning in effect for -30C to -40C. I have no problems going outside when it's this cold out, but I won't do it when there's a wind. Especially not with LO.
Get this though, my windows are so huge that the sun pouring and reflecting off of the snow on my patio created a greenhouse effect in my little apartment. I had to open them up a crack to cool our place down.
I live in Wisconsin and yesterday was -20, with the windchill it was -50. This morning it was -15 (windchill at -40) but it's "warmed up" to 0 now. School closed both days.
Yesterday was much worse) n South Dakota...it was about -20 air temp but felt like -57. We didn't have school, and I therefore got an extra day of break. Back to school today, though. High today was 4 and it was downright balmy outside.
I feel like "polar vortex " should be part of the name of an episode of "The Big Bang Theory."
I live in South Central PA and work in Maryland. The temperature was -2 and the windchill was -24. And our school system did not close or delay....most likely because of high school assessments that were taking place this week.
North of Philadelphia, PA. This morning was -2 with a wind chill of -25. We were 1 of the only 4 districts in the region that went to school today. On a delay... Not that those 2 hours made a difference for our walking kiddos!
