Been struggling with this all week. Dd2 is 1 week. I breastfed in the hospital and pumped while at home since we couldn't get a good latch (and I was bleeding). My supply hasn't increased, while dds has sky rocketed! (She was born at 9 lbs) so I can't keep up and added in some formula. With not having time to pump and chasing a toddler around, I've been seriously just considering letting the pumping go. But the thought of that makes me really upset for some reason! I've also considered trying to get her to latch again but she gets so frustrated. Not really looking for advice. I guess I just wanted some support and to vent!

That all being said, you have to do what's best for your family. But just know there is hope after a rough start!

BFP #2 - 09-29-12; U/S showed baby stopped growing @ 5wks 4days - 10-30-12; D&C - 10-31-12
BFP #3 - 04-10-13; Third time is a charm... Stick, baby, stick!!!
When I pump I'm getting anywhere between .5 to 2 ounces at a time (2 oz was when I didn't pump all night because she was full on colicky all night) But I just can't find time to do it! My insurance covers a "nurse practitioner" but not a lactation consultant. Not sure the difference but I'll call my OB tomorrow. I would be totally open to breastfeeding (no pump) and supplementing if needing. It's just the pump that I don't have time for. Thanks for your input! Its nice to see others didn't get their babies to breastfeed right away.
