I read that this morning and really enjoyed it. I agree with him- I hate the fact that a lot of people don't see men as equal parents to women. It goes right alongside the whole "my H is babysitting" thing. My husband is a very involved parent in all aspects of our daughters life & I wouldn't have ever married a man who wouldn't.
I saw that this morning too. I thought it was sweet and awesome that he is so into "daddying"! People saying otherwise in the comments are just stupid.
I enjoyed this. DH sometimes does mini-pedicures for me and my SD. I posted something about it on FB once and someone said something about revoking his man card. I love seeing him do things like that, because my dad would have NEVER done something like that.
I didn't have a dad who cared about daddying and I think that's a darn shame! My husband is definitely into it- he rocks the ergo like nobody's business. I didn't find the picture strange or shocking-just cute! I was really surprised by the comments he got, especially the racist comments! Our society can be so regressive and I forget sometimes.
I enjoyed this. My DH is currently home with our kids, as he is still on paternity leave. He doesn't think twice about it and doesn't miss a beat. He also corrects people (namely FIL), when they call it 'babysitting'. We are very equal in our parenting.
He also never takes the kids out of the house in their pajamas (which I don't think twice about on sleepy weekend mornings) and is the doesn't let DD out of the house without a hairbow. It is just a cute little quirk of his that always makes me smile.
