TMI....nipple discharge?

So I think I'm already having some kind of nipple discharge. I noticed this morning when I took my bra off, yes I sleep in a bra my boobs get too sore otherwise, and there was a bad like rotten smell. WTF?!? I looked and both cups looked like they had slight stains in them where my nipples would be, and sure enough my actual nipples had/have hardened white/yellow-ish stuff on them that didn't wash off in the shower. Any idea what this might be? I haven't consulted Dr. Google yet, but that's next. Is it too early for something like this to be happening at only 16 weeks?? Do you think I should call my m/w and just ask the question or is this normal?

I had the same thing happen in my first pregnancy from about 16 weeks on. Depends how you sleep, but I assumed it was totally normal - just your boobs gearing up for all that milk making!!

I do still sleep somewhat on my tummy and sides. I wake up on my back often, but roll over back to my tummy because I'm more comfortable that way. Maybe I'm squishing it out!

at my 14 week check up my OB gave me the heads up that I might start to have leakage. I haven't had any but I'm assuming if he told me about it, then it must be normal to get it that early.

I'm pretty sure it's normal. A bunch of girls on my BMB were mentioning leakage pretty early on. I've only seen one clear droplet on one nipple once as I was hopping into the shower, so I should probably be jealous of you. At least you'll know your milk is coming in fine! Maybe just scrub with a loofah and then when you come out of the shower make sure to pat dry so you won't get an infection?

I actually tried gently scrubbing with my loufa this morning...so weird that it wouldn't come off. I kinda picked at it when I got out and it was down in there! All solidified, of course, it's kinda hard to describe it without posting a picture, which I PROMISE I won't do haha. Sorry, this is so nasty I'm actually grossing myself out! LOL

OK, I'm a freak....I just took a peek at my nips and they're totally clean now, but I can see that all the "leftovers" have rubbed off into my what-was-clean bra. I'm psycho, I know!

Mine are leaking too. Totally normal. Colostrum is very thick and sticky.
