Hi everyone! I just recently joined the Infertility board before I saw this board so I thought I would introduce myself here as well. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for about 2 1/2 years now. We have been told that we have unexplained infertility which is just down right frustrating. We've done two iuis with clomid, but neither one was successful. I had a polyp removed last February because We planned on doing ivf this past summer. Then, our house was broken into twice and we decided to move home to PA with our families instead of staying in NC. Well, we just couldn't afford to move and do ivf in one summer so that was a huge let down, but at least we are home with our families now. Now that we are settled again, we are finding a new fertility clinic here. I actually just got results from an ultrasound because my gyne suspected that a polyp grew back. The ultrasound results were normal and now she thinks I may have a thyroid issue so who even knows at this point. Anyways, I'm glad to be here and I wish everyone lots of luck! I'm going to try my best to remain positive this year with all of this stuff and I feel good knowing that I can come here to talk with everyone!

    I'm sorry you find yourself here, and for all the other stress!! 2 home burglaries?? How terrible! I wish you and your husband lots of luck in PA and hope we (fellow posters) provide the support system you're looking for

    Me:Hypothyroid DH: Type II diabetic. Together since 03/2007, Married 10/2011, D/C bc 10/2011. TTC: 11/2011. Charted BBT and CV along with OPK 10/2011-02/2012 Baseline labs 02/2012 WNL, SA 03/2012: botched sample by lab - destroyed hubby's confidence. 04/2012 Clomid 05/2012 Clomid 06/2012 Clomid 07/2012 Clomid and Ovidrel 08/2012 Ovidrel (I never knew that I was supposed to be monitored while on meds...I never was. I asked for u/s and other tests to see why we weren't getting pregnant, doc just kept giving me meds and telling me to go to his church for a "laying of hands") Stopped all monitoring/testing/temps, etc, Sex became a chore and we started to grow apart. At 12 mos I decided to look for another doc. 02/2013 consult with new doc....3 days later testing began...u/s, all good, HSG: all good, labs: all good, ovulating, etc. Started on Pregnitude. 04/2013 failed attempt for SA, 05/2013 failed attempt SA. 12/2013 SA: 3% morph, abnormal functionality. DH started Pycnogenol. RE consult 01/15/2014.

    Welcome and sorry you're here! Unexplained IF is its own special kind of hell. Are you working with an RE yet?

    Thank you! I was seeing an RE in NC,but now I am in the process of finding a new one in or near PA. So it's definitely stressful and I'm trying really hard to stay positive. I'm not sure how long that'll last, but I'm trying!

    Welcome! Sorry you find yourself here, but these ladies are a huge help with questions and support. Hopefully you can find an RE soon and your stay here will be short.

    Me-39, HSG 2/13- clear. DS-IUI #1-3/13,300iu Menopur 12 days,3 days Cetrotide, Ovidrel Trigger-BFN. IUI #2 06/13, BFP EDD: 02/22/14 m/c (cp), IUI #3- BFP EDD: 5/17/14 m/c 09/13. Blood work/RPL panel- nk cell/MTHFR mutation- negative. Blood work all good. Unexplained reason for m/c. IUI #4 BFP m/c (cp) 10/13. IUI #5- 12/13 Cancelled. No response. (1)follicle. IUI #5.1- 2/14. IVF Bound

    New DX= DOR, I fu*kng hate IF
    1/14 Hysteroscopy, new clean uterus!
