I haven't read the article, but yes! hopefully someday! My mom is always telling me how great MH is because he interacts with the kids, like the normal amount of interaction...makes it tough to complain to her
Dude, one day when Aiden was little DH stayed home with him because he was sick. He posted "Home today with my sick little buddy" and people were all "Awe, what a great dad!" Blink. He's a parent. His child is sick. Why is it amazing that he stayed with said sick child? Thankfully he agreed it was bullshit lol
In mid-December we had snow. Our daycare follows the school system of the county we live in to decide whether to close for weather. Daycare was closed. My school (different county) was open. I went to work and DH stayed home all day with LO. I told my MIL this and she was SUPER IMPRESSED with him. She might have used the "babysitting" word but I can't remember. I was irritated. Ugh.
For the record, my dad was pretty good at doing my hair when I was a little kid.
My husband hates babywearing in public. He wore her in the Boba a while back and he got so many nasty glares from men (accompanied by cooing women, of course), that he just couldn't do it again. It really pissed me off, and I'm trying to respect his decision. He'll carry her all day long, but won't put her in the Ergo or any of our wraps.
