AW: done BFing after 15 months

DS2 hasn't had any interest in nursing the past few days. He has a pretty bad cold and I've been sick since NYE, so I'm sure we probably could've kept going if it wasn't for that, but I'm still proud of 15 months (and 9 days!) I was done with DS1 when he was 9 months, so I know I gave DS2 so much by going so much longer.

I'm a little sad the journey is over. But now it's really time to shed the weight my body has wanted to hold onto!

    Wow, that's a long time - great work!  I was done at 12.5months.  I hated pumping!

    Congrats! I was hoping to go to 18 months, but lately my nipples have been killing me when she latches on so I'm thinking of weaning, but she doesn't seem interested in weaning at all. I was a hard weaned so it doesn't surprise me.

    Well done. And yes, I'm sure it is a bittersweet time. Yay! to having your boobs back, but sad to stop those particular cuddles.
