2 hour glucose test tomorrow

3 month post partum glucose test is tomorrow morning and I'm SO NERVOUS.. It's one of those things where I just have a gut feeling I'm gonna find out I have diabetes. (Better to know so I can take care of it but I don't want to know

)

Those of you who had GD, did you pass the postpartum glucose test?

I passed! Was told that it was less than a 2%chance of keeping it.

My OB didn't even mention this?? Hmm is this something all GD mommas are doing?

My OB also never mentioned a post partpartum glucose test.

When I got GD and saw the specialist he mentioned something about doctor's making you re-do the test after the baby was born. But he told me that since I already had a meter I could just track my sugars myself to make sure they were fine. Truthfully, I haven't been doing that. I should probably start because I feel like crap after I eat a lot of sugar...just like when I was pregnant. I just really don't want to take that test again. The drink made me so sick.

I had GD but didn't have to repeat the glucose test. My GD doctor sent me for blood work 6 weeks PP (just fasting, no drink) to test my HbA1c and thyroid. They both came back normal. I am also overweight so I was concerned.
