Lol! I'd like to know too. Actually I change mine to "working moms who pump or breastfeed, how do you do it?" I feel like it's even harder when you bf or pump because there goes 2-2.5 hours of your day (at least for me!)
After S goes to bed. We used to go running with her in the stroller when the weather was warmer, but now I exercise after we put S to sleep (she goes to bed between 6:30 and 7). We make really easy and quick dinners during the week so if whatever meal I'm making needs time in the oven, I exercise while it's baking. If it requires stove time, I get everything ready and have DH man the stove while I exercise. It's hard to find the time, but if it becomes a part of your routine, it's a lot easier.
@JoJo716 - I've been training for a half marathon so I usually run on the treadmill that we have at home (I ended up having to get one because the weather is just too cold here in CO for me to run outside and it gets dark too early). On the days I don't run, I usually do some type of exercise with free weights. Nothing too crazy, just some arm work outs and sometimes lunges, etc. Most nights it's 30-45 minutes or so total. If I need to do a long run for training, I do those on the weekends when DH is home so he can watch S while I run.
Lucky for me we have a gym at work so I am able to work out some time in the morning. Every blue moon I am not able to and I try to do it as soon as I get home. If I don't do it as soon as I get I get lazy. My husband and kids get home about 2 hours after I do so that works but most times I don't really have the energy for a late afternoon/early evening work out.
I always went around 8ish after he was in bed. With having DS2 its been a lil harder since we had some minor sleep issues with DS1. We moved a cple months ago and unfortunately our treadmill is stuck in our garage, so we just signed up this weekend at Snap. Again will try to go once i put the lil guy down
I go at lunch time. There is a gym where I work and I go walk on the treadmill and do some free weights. It is a great time for me because LO is at daycare so I don't have to worry about her. I dont usually do enough to get really sweaty but if I do there is a shower available or use dry shampoo.
This is a great thread! I have not found time to devote to exercise, but at random points during the day I'll put on some Zumba inspired music in my office and rock out to get my blood pumping. I'm supposed to start a Wednesday spinning class at 6:30, so I think to make that work, Wednesday will have to be crock pot day. I'm not good at using equipment, and class schedules don't usually coincide with my schedule. I'm really interested in Barre classes, but they are very expensive in my area.
It's just not going to happen HERE! I could work out at work but when? At lunch I eat, pump and back to work (1/2hr), I could work out and pump at lunch and eat at my desk after while I work...that's an option!

I wouldn't stress about it! BF burns like 500 calories a day! It's like an hour or bootcamp class best weightloss workout ever!

Yeah, the breast feeding alone hasn't gotten rid of all my weight. But I eat like a horse so I'm not surprised.
Im a BF and pumping mom; work FT and have 2 LO. Exercising is really tuff to get in my schd. I did a 30 day croc pot meals a few months back and OMG did that free up time. I love left over night bc then I'm free those days.
I'm really trying to get to work at 5:30 to 6am so I can then leave at 3:30 to 4pm so I can go exercise on my Wii Active/ Zumba. Then pick up child #1 at DC around 4:45. But I have been asking DH to watch LO for just the 30min I need to workout, then child #1 exercise with me( she thinks it's a game). It's a work in progress...
But I think I'm botching that up by eating candy and cookies, I really got to stop. :-S
Also, how do you exercise without pissing yourself?!?!
errrr, well...i make sure to pee like 4 times before I start exercising just to make sure my bladder is completely empty...and sometimes I wear a pantyliner just in case.
I try to do at least two workouts during the week and then both weekend days. During the week it throws off our schedule though. I either do a class at the gym or go to the local yoga studio. Yoga was my favorite pre-pregnancy, but the classes are 90 minutes and heated. So with the drive and need to shower immediately upon walking in the door, it's a 2.25 hour commitment. We end up eating at like 9:30 at night. Wah wah wah.
