Gas company win... Not

It is -9 here right now with a wind chill putting it at right around -37... And the gas in one of my towns largest developments went out. It is about 500 homes that have no heat!! Thankfully, our house is unaffected- we live across town, but a lot of our friends live there, including my Hs step brother who has a one month old! They are on their way over here to stay with us, but hopefully, their gas gets back on soon! In the meantime, B gets a playmate!

  • Awful!  We hosted a sleepover with my BIL and nephew last year after a hurricane took out their heat.  Enjoy the fun but hopefully they get their heat back soon!

  • I just saw this on the local news FB page (I'm from your town, but moved to Chicago) and oh I'm so sorry.  Hope things are back and running!

  • I just saw on the news that they "fixed" the problem, but now they have to go door to door and turn off people's gas all together, let the pressure build and then turn it back on. Freakin nuts!!
