I am a terrible pumper. With my first, I pumped myself into mastitis within a week. I really don't like doing it, and my milk came in pretty quickly with both my Los so I really did not need to. Women who EP are basically heroes in my eyes. I would like to primarily BF my twins, but also intend to supplement with formula regularly. If I plan on doing a combo of BF and FF, is there any reason to pump? I don't even have a working pump anymore, so I would need to get a new one.
The only scenario I could think of needing one is if my twins are born early and need NICU time, and I need to pump to establish supply. But for something like that, I could rent a hospital pump, right? Is there any other reason for me to invest in a pump?

They were in the NICU and I did EP to bring my milk in, but beyond that I don't really "need" to pump. I do, daily, but bc I work outside the home.
