I don't know how to describe the smell from down there but its annoying and I don't know what to do! When I go to change my pad I can tell its the discharge that stinks so I've been changing those more frequent but no relief. Anyone else?

try the feminine care wash in the shower and buy the fresh care wipes for your purse when you change pads, an odd odor is normal after having a baby w. all that discharge and ph imbalance, if it's still an issue at your 6 or 8 wk check i'd ask the doc

It is definitely gross! I feel like I step out of the shower and it still smells

I had a really strong iron/metallic smell for a couple weeks. Doctor said it was normal to have strong smells for a while after birth like PP said. Mine was gone by the end of the 3rd week after having LO.

Don't use any special wash stuff just water. You don't want to get an infection near a giant open wound

This. Special stuff will mess up your ph more. Just water and frequent changes. Also, I was told not to wipe, just pat dry, FWIW.
