AW: DH felt the baby!

Wow, our little one is getting strong! I woke DH up and shoved his hand on my tummy right where the baby was fidgeting. He thought that he would only be able to feel my pulse but when the baby moved and I asked if he felt it he was like, "That was the baby!?!"

I'm leaving for three months next week and I've been really bummed about him missing so much of the pregnancy especially now that I'm more myself again. I'm so happy that we squeaked in this milestone!

In case you're interested...  The baby should be measuring around 20 weeks atm. I had an appointment with my midwife just over two weeks ago and she could feel the baby from the outside and said that we should be able to see and feel it soon too. Finally! :D

    That is so awesome! And so great that you got to share that with your DH before you leave. My baby was flipping around like crazy last night and DH and I could see the movement! We were both in shock and it was so cool! I'm loving this new phase and feel so much more connected to the baby.

    So exciting!! I'm so happy for you that your DH got to feel the baby move before you leave!
    My DH asks me almost every day if I've felt anything and my answer always is, "maybe, I'm not sure!" I'll be 18 weeks on Thursday and I can't wait for my DH to be able to feel movement!

    This part of the pregnancy is amazing. I'm glad you're husband got to feel the baby. Wait until the later months. Your whole belly move lol.

    DH can hardly stand the wait until he feels the baby. The first day I felt it move he came home and about bruised my stomach pressing on it in hopes of feeling something. Haha he just didn't want to believe that he wouldn't be able to feel the flutters
