Eye drops for baby

Anyone have any tips for administering eye drops for LO? Poor thing has pink eye (thanks daddy for sharing! Lol) and that's what the doctor ordered. I want to make sure she gets as much of the medicine as possible. I plan in waiting till she's sleeping and I think I read online to aim toward the tear duct but past that any advice would be appreciated.

    We just went thru this as DD & I both had it. Our pedi stated the ointment is much easier to use when they are this young. With the drops you have to really get a good placement where the ointment can be spread across lash line then rubbed in & will be adequate. I would see if switching to ointment is a possibility. We had gone to ER & got the ointment but I called pedi office to see if I could get drops...

    I have given LO drops when he was laying on the changing table, and squeezed it in the corner by the tear duct. Seemed to get most in his eye, but not all.
