He's been consistently in the 90th percentile, so I was asking at what age a baby's height becomes a predictor of their future height. She told me about multiplying his height at age 2 by 2, but said it's likely he'll continue to stay in the 90th percentile. DH is 5'10" and I'm 5'4". DH and I are both convinced he stunted his growth by starting to smoke as a high school freshman. His brother is about 6'2" and they were predicting that DH would be taller than him when he was little. Hearing that about DS today kind of confirmed what we've thought about DH's height.
Re: Pedi thinks DS might end up being 6' or 6'1" when he's older.
Quentin's pedi said the same. DS is in the 93rd percentile for height, and is predicted to be 6'3"-6'5". DH is 6'2" and I'm 5'10" so I guess that makes sense!
Ditto. My pedi told my parents that I would be at least 6'0 tall b/c I was consistently off the charts. Mom is 5'8" and Dad is 6'4". I stopped growing in the 7th grade at a modest 5'7". It is possible, but you never know.
