My DD, sometimes just wow. Wow - that is gross. And it isn't what i expected when I was pregnant. I thought diapers (namely poop) would be the worst. But for me, it isn't. I have a happy spitter. She spits up -
all the time. On everything and everywhere. We should have taken out stock in bibs. I feel bad because she is the "stinky" kid because within 5 minutes of a bath she smells like sour milk. Again.
But we had adjusted. We always carry a plethora of bibs when we go out and we use scented soaps. But she has learned two new tricks this weekend:
1. She can suck on her toes. And oh does she. Until they are tiny prune toes. (I think I may be jealous at her flexibility)
2. Gross warning: She spat up on her bib this weekend and then put her bib in her mouth and wound up eating her spit up. Now - she thinks she makes food. She was so excited. And is every time she spits up. We have to be super fast to clean that up or she'll eat it. I? What do you even do?
I feel like Allie with her magical food making dog.

Re: Does anyone get grossed out by their babies sometimes?
Back story: my h was sitting on the couch with lo, who was farting like crazy. My h goes, mommy! I think someone pooped! And handed him to me. I immediately saw a poop lake all over my husband. I've never seen anything like what was inside the diaper.
We had to cut off the onsie.
Only the small spitups are all. the. time. And he likes to spit on my shoulder and then rub his face in it. Or keep it in his mouth and chew on it. About an hour ago he spit up in his mouth and chewed on it open-mouthed for about 30 seconds before I could get it out. I could see it squishing around his little bottom teeth. :-&

I hate baby puke but I wonder if I'll miss it when it's gone, like I miss gross puppy breath.
I doubt I miss baby puke, the smell is vile.
