Daycare closing?

  I asked ours about this on Friday because I knew we were expecting bad weather. Our director said that they only close if there is a state of emergency which is rare. She also told me which news station to watch. It doesn't say yet that they are closed but my office won't open because of the weather so he won't be there anyway. But I've heard of some following the school districts.
  
  I've already come to terms with the fact that there will be days that I pay for regardless. I just tell myself that it is a business and their workers have to be paid as well.

  Our daycare closed Friday, they only close if the county Circuit court is closed. The weather has to be pretty bad for the court to close. We still have to pay, it sucks, but it's pretty much the norm.

  BFP #3 01/05/13 EDD 09/17/13 u/s 1/24/13-great appt, measuring 2 days ahead, NT scan 3/11/13-great scan measuring 4 days ahead, A/S 4/29/13-another great scan can't wait to meet my baby BOY!!!!!

  Ours follow the school district closures. I've found they are actually way more lenient, but they have it in the contract that they will close when the schools do.

  Ours is an in-home daycare, but she follows the school district as far as closures.  We still have to pay for those days - sucks but there isn't really anything we can do about it.
