4 weeks pregnant and breasts don't hurt as much

Hi! I found out earlier this week that I am pregnant. Only 4 weeks, but still is extremely exciting for me as I have always dreamt of having a baby. My first sign that I was pregnant was that my breasts were so swollen and sore I could hardly touch them. This morning they only hurt a little and I kind of feel like I have a yeast infection. Is this really bad and an early sign of a miscarriage or do symptoms come and go even this early? Any info is appreciated, I just want to make sure my little poppyseed turns into a healthy happy baby! :)

    Congrats on your babe!
This is my second pregnancy and i am 6 weeks and still NO symptoms at all!!! With my first i had a ton, this ine none! Every pregnancy is different and your so early, give it another 4 weeks you will have something! Even if its just peeing alot!! :)

Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

Re: 4 weeks pregnant and breasts don't hurt as much

  • Thanks so much! Your posts made me feel so much better. I got ahold of my dr and she recommended getting monistat for the yeast infection and also said that the breast pain coming and going is very normal. Thanks again!!
  • Thanks everyone! I am so paranoid because I have always wanted a baby and I don't want anything to happen to him/her. Everything makes me so nervous. Today I had some cramps and got really nervous. I have heard a lot about miscarriages and how common they are. I know I am driving my bf nuts. (Yes we are not married but planned this baby. We have been planning to get married this year and have also wanted a child. I was on the depo shot and was told I would not get pregnant for at least 9 months after my last shot but may take up to two years. Well...baby came right after I got off the shot and We could not be happier.) anyways..any suggestions or comforting info on not driving myself and my bf nuts about a miscarriage?? Thanks!
  • Thanks funnibunni. I have been doing research on the internet. I will definitely grab a book. Thanks for the suggestions, I wasn't sure which ones are good and of course most current.
  • Symptoms come and go... One day your boobs can be extremely sore, while the next day, you'll feel perfectly normal.
  • You may never experience sore boobs. In my first pregnancy I never did. This pregnancy they have been a bit sore but nothing to complain about. Yeast infections are common in pregnancy. It doesn't mean you'll miscarry because of one.
  • I *knock on wood* have hardly had any symptoms this pregnancy, I am about 7 weeks now. My boobs haven't been sore, but by 5 on my work day i'm ready to jerk my bra off so they can breathe and they definitely feel heavier. I was nervous too because I hardly had any symptoms, until someone reassured me that had nothing to do with the health of the baby. My symptoms at this point are still just mild cramps and some killer heartburn!

  • My boobs always hurt more in the TWW than during early pregnancy. Try not to over analyze symptoms, it will drive you crazy!
