Are any of your babies at a cause-and-effect point where they know what something means and respond accordingly?
We've been signing with C since 4 months, and that has yielded nothing. The only two things he responds to are "kitty" (he'll look at the cat) and "high five" (he'll give us a high five). Random.

I'd like to think that C knows the sign for milk after 4 months (he learned high five in a week!), but either he doesn't have the coordination to open and close his hand like that, or he just prefers flailing his arms and legs and squealing when he sees the bottle.
ETA: I'm just curious...I don't have high signing expectations at this point.
I think she is starting to understand waving goodbye. When someone is walking toward the door and I say "buh-bye" she often wiggles her arm up and down.
It's so fun watching them learn
