Anyone else on pelvic rest?

I've been on pelvic rest since Thanksgiving afer my u/s showed marginal placenta previa.  I'm sad and can't wait for my next u/s - hoping that the placenta will rise on it's own so I can get some action!!

Anyone else going through this?  I didn't think it would be this hard!

    i am right now - for the time being- b/c i had some spotting this weekend.

    we JUST finally had sex, too - after 12w - b/c we were afraid... and then a few days later are told we can't - oops!!!

    I'm not, but my friend here at work is and she had to tell her husband the day after he broke his hand, poor guy had a really bad week!  Hang in there!  She's hating it too, but all things considered it could be worse, it'll make it that much more special when you can again!

    We're on 2 weeks of pelvic rest after I started bleeding last Friday w cramping and increased Braxton-Hicks. Fun. My bleeding has stopped, but the cxs continue. Of course, I hadn't felt like sex for the last 2 weeks but as soon as I'm told we can't, I get all interested. Bummer....

    I am on pelvix rest too for a low-lying placenta - 5 weeks, and I feel the same as EML569, as soon as the dr. said no sex, I wanted it!

    I am on pelvic rest, plus sort of modified bed rest for a shortened cervix. I am on week three and will be staying on it until my next U/S in two weeks. I am hoping at that point they will take me off because if not it is going to be a long pregnancy!

    I was for about a week.  I started spotting while I was away on my honeymoon.  But, it stopped and while I thought I'd lose my mind, I found it again once I got back to work.

    I have not been able to have sex since Nov 3 (I was 10w4d) as I had cerclage (stitch in cervix) and will not be able to have sex until the stitches come out (between 34 and 36 weeks). It has been hell. I told DH "its one thing when I don't want it, but when your told you CAN'T, its a whole nother situation". I really miss sex, but will do what I need to do in order to have a healthy baby. GL!!!

    I was a little worried that this doesn't happen, but thank goodness I'm not the only one. We just came back from the Dr today and after the good news of finding out the sex of the baby (A girl!! Smile ), he then tells us that the placenta is low and we should quit it until my next appt next month just in case... Then he scared me by saying if I start bleeding that it could put me in the hospital.. so yeah, sorry!! no hanky panky for me!!
