Ok so I know the weather has been discussed at length but I thought this quote was hilarious from an article I read:

"While America collectively freaks out over their impending 'polar vortex', Canada is changing the game when it comes to cold weather phenomenon as reports of 'frost quakes' emerge from around Toronto and across Ontario."

I like how the article puts polar vortex in quotes as though it is no big deal and Americans are freaking out over nothing. But seriously, any Canadians experiencing a frost quake? Cause that is crazy.

Ya, frost-quakes have been reported a lot over the last week. The weather in Southern Ontario keeps bouncing from extreme cold warnings to plus temps and back down again. We've got another nasty cold front moving in starting tomorrow with lows of -27 on Tuesday.

I heard a frost quake on Christmas Eve. I wasn't sure what it was till a few days later when it was in the newspaper. We has a cold snap last week but it has warmed up some. I have had enough of the freezing rain and ice. All buses are cancelled today giving the kids an extra holiday and we have been stuck inside too long because everything is icy in the yard.

We hear them all the time! My husband told me it was ice falling off our house cause it scared the sh*t outta me! He was wrong!! LOL his grandma also called the cops cause she thought someone was breaking into her house! (she's also batsh*t crazy! lol)
