Little miss Sophia was born on December 31, at 7:43 am after inducing and laboring overnight. The birth was pretty standard with no complications (thank God!).
Two things I took away after the whole experience:
1. I have a new found respect for mom's who go through their entire labor and delivery without any pain meds! I can't say I was one of those moms, but the hour between the horrid pitocen induced contractions and the epidural were out of this world painful.
2. I have an amazing husband, who has been so incredibly supportive! More than I think he has ever been in the 13 years we have been married. So much that each time I think of it, I get teary (damn those hormones).
So here she is!
