Baby dry is gross. it feels like plastic. Cruisers have the same softness as swaddlers so with DD I used swaddlers sensitive through size 2, then switched to cruisers for size 3.
I use Swaddlers as her every day. They are really soft and smell like baby powder. I started using Baby Dry for overnights only because she was leaking out the Swaddlers. No leaks with the Baby Dry yet.

Swaddlers. I love the pee line. Not that I don't know when his diaper really needs changed, but sometimes he goes just a little bit and it's nice to know. We never really liked the baby dry, but I have no specific reason why. It just wasn't for us.
We have had success with both. No blowouts. DH likes the wet indicator line on the Swaddlers. The baby dry diapers definitely feel cheaper but seem to work as well for us.
We used to use the swaddlers. Switched to target brand because they're so much cheaper, & we love them.
We haven't had to but any diapers yet as we were blessed with amazingly generous friends who bought us like a closet full of diapers (in different sizes and brands) but I completely agree with this. Although I will say I was a fan of the huggies more so than pampers.

Can't say we've even tried anything other than Pampers Swaddlers but they work well for us and DH & I both give the wetness indicator line/blue line a big thumbs up!
Swaddlers or cruisers during day and baby dry at night. The swaddlers and cruisers would leak thru from being so wet and her sleeping on it for so long. No problem with baby dry at night.

I use swaddlers during the day and baby dry at night. Although the way the baby dry ones puff out really gross me out when I go to change her after sleep. Even if she doesn't pee much they puff right out and I get so worried about how much more absorbent chemicals are probably in there.
I was a Pampers snob with my older girls. I love Swaddlers the most but Baby Dry is good too, just a bit harder feel. I was continuing my Pamapers loyalty with this LO until she developed her thunder thighs. Now I have to use Huggies because they are a lot more forgiving in the thigh area.
I noticed this article was written in 2012 and it says the up&up brand doesn't have the wetness indicator. LO is only in size 2 right now and size newborn, one and two have had the wetness indicator. Maybe as the sizes go up they don't ? Or maybe changes have been made to the diaper since the article was written. No real point to this other than bringing it up in case the wetness indicator was a determining factor in whether to try the diaper or not. We have been using up&up and love the value and the absorbency. We've never had a leak or blowout with them while in pampers and huggies we had both issues.
